The output isn't final, but the leap from blank-page to first-draft is what's been missing from every previous presentation tool. For founders the use cases are concrete. Pitch decks, investor updates, product launch decks, customer-facing presentations. Generating a first draft from a prompt instead of starting from an empty slide saves real hours. The themed visuals (each deck gets a consistent colour palette, font system, image style) make the output look intentional rather than hodge-podge. The publish-to-web feature gives your deck a shareable URL with analytics. Viewers can scroll responsively on mobile or desktop, and you see who actually opened it. Gamma is meaningfully different from PowerPoint in that it's not slide-bound. Pages can be tall and scrollable, with embedded videos, GIFs, charts, and interactive components. My take: if you give a lot of presentations and want to escape the 'start from a blank PowerPoint' tax, Gamma is a real productivity unlock. Pair it with hand-editing to get presentation-grade output in 30% of the usual time. If you only do a deck or two a year, the AI-generated default may not justify even the free signup.
