Konxios is a local-first desktop AI assistant built on top of Ollama and LMStudio, designed to turn a simple LLM into a full operating system for productivity, automation, and personal AI agents. Instead of just chatting with a model, Konxios acts like an always-on AI workspace that can understand goals, execute tasks, and orchestrate tools across your entire machine - all while keeping everything local by default. It runs as a Mac desktop app (with expansion in progress) and automatically sets up Ollama during installation so non-technical users can get started instantly. You can also optionally connect cloud models like OpenAI or Anthropic if you want hybrid flexibility.
