The only fully location independent job board that hand picks every job on this site.
Founder, Real Work From Anywhere
Real Work From Anywhere is the only job board dedicated for work from anywhere jobs. When I was in university, I was tired of popular remote jobs being full of location-restricted remote jobs. Some jobs were mis-labeled as worldwide remote jobs but are restricted to specific countries. So, I wanted to build a site that curates fully work from anywhere remote jobs for candidates like me to get a remote job from anywhere in the world.
My target audience is remote job seekers and digital nomads. My ICP is fully work from anywhere companies.
We've got around 250,000 job seekers on the website.
My first users came from actively building in public, and sharing it on communities including Reddit, HN, etc. As I wasn't experienced in SEO I couldn't see SEO as an acquisition channel in the beginning. But building in public and gaining some experience helped me realize SEO is inevitable. So, I learned SEO with some trial and error. Now SEO is the biggest traffic channel for Real Work From Anywhere.
For the first 2 years, it had been incredibly hard to acquire backlinks and gain some momentum in SEO. It's like no one wants to link to you unless you pay. But I kept building nevertheless and sharing the site on forums. But on the third year, I have started to get links from some prominent sites and mentions from big influencers. It helped move the needle in SEO. Some of the big sources of traffic now includes Google, Youtube, Bing, Reddit, and ChatGPT.
We are the only job board to provide fully work from anywhere jobs carefully curated.
We make most of our revenue through advertising via Google Adsense. Last month we made $6.2k and we've now made over $25k in the last 12 months, and $16.5k already in 2025.
This project only costs $6 to run for me which I spend on hosting.
My biggest achievement is that I bootstrapped this job board to $5k in monthly revenue in 2025 as a solo dev.
I believe what I did so far is great for me, so definitely follow the same path.
Persevere and be consistent. What's working for others might not work for you. Be in it long term to actually find out what will work for you. And double down on it.
